I've owned a Hyundai E2000E for more than five years. Exactly five years later, the gearbox jammed. Upon inspection, the nylon bushings and driven shaft were worn out, the driven gear had shifted by about 15-20 degrees, and the chain was slipping and jamming. I ordered a new gearbox, but it's been six months of delays. Here's a solution: I ordered a polished shaft 20 mm x 300 mm for 400 rubles and five 6004 ZZ bearings at 60 rubles each. Everything fits perfectly. Two bearings each fit into a cup, and I use the inner race of the fifth as a thrust bushing. Also, the gear needs to be welded onto the shaft. This results in an everlasting gearbox. Ordering a gearbox costs 6000 rubles. Yes, it's excellent, no hassle. A plot of 10 ares. Even broke a gravel road. The kit includes an RCD. Cultivator for three seasons. The cultivator is the most powerful among electric ones. But the design is not refined. It worked easily and deftly for only three seasons. It lasted for two years - three seasons - to experience the benefits of this cultivator. And without a cultivator at the dacha you can only sunbathe - you can’t even sow grass. The exit assembly of the working shaft from the gearbox is not well developed. Sliding bearings are in plastic bushings. The shaft exits are without seals - dirt gets into the gaps. Wear on both the shaft and bushings. The shaft's thrust inside the gearbox is on small retaining rings - the contact area is small - the rings break - the grooves wear out. The shaft wobbles in the bushings, the retaining ring broke, the lubricant is worse than clay, fragments of the ring jammed the chain. The chain tensioner wore out. Installed a grease nipple into the gearbox. The handle bracket broke off the post - had to weld a reinforced bracket. The trimming disc flew off the axis - welded it back. Solution - buy a new gearbox in reserve. During the hot season and with some skill, gearboxes can be changed in 2 - 3 hours. Reverse gear is not possible - structurally! The gearbox is designed for unidirectional chain movement in the gearbox due to the tensioner design. The direction of engine shaft rotation could be easily resolved - electrically - by switching the capacitor to another engine winding. On my cultivator, the handles first fell off the post - the cultivator ran away from me. Due to the lack of seals, the bushings of the working shaft's bearings wore out.
