The digital control system works with the included infrared remote control and supports the use of the Daikin Residential Controller Wi-Fi remote control module (sold separately). There is a "comfort" mode where warm air blows downward, and cold air along the ceiling. There is a mode where full power is activated for 20 minutes to quickly cool/heat the room. Both units are neatly and well assembled inside, but the reliability of the compressor and electronics is questionable. Few features. No ionizer, no indicators on the indoor unit, no backlight on the remote, no horizontal louver control, no fine air filter, no presence sensor, no WiFi, and everything else competitors offer for the same price is also missing. Overall, a severely stripped-down budget model. In night (quiet) mode, after some time, the motor of the indoor unit starts whistling, changing the tone of its whistle every second.
