Dedra DEGB2510
![]() | Outdated Product A simple gasoline generator with an automatic voltage regulator (AVR). Equipped with a 5-horsepower engine with a working volume of 163 cm3. It consumes fuel with an "appetite" of 1.25 l / h and can work without refueling for 12 hours (thanks to a 15-liter gas tank). The Dedra DEGB2510 generator is designed for loads up to 2 kW. It has two sockets for connecting 230 V AC consumers and a 12 V DC connector through which you can power low-voltage appliances or charge car batteries. The devices are presented to a minimum: the panel has a dial voltmeter and a signal light that lights up when the oil level in the crankcase is too low. |

How to choose a backup power generatorKey points to consider when choosing your own stand-alone mini-power plant

How to connect a generator to a house: via an outlet, a switch, and an ATS unitThree ways to connect a backup power station to a household electrical grid
Model overview based on user reviews
The Dedra DEGB2510 generator is a reliable backup power source, particularly suitable for country houses experiencing power outages. Assembled on a durable steel tubular frame, it is easy to carry and weighs up to 50 kg when fully charged. With a rated power of 2000 W, it efficiently powers basic household appliances, including small washing machines, and features electric current protection and an oil level monitoring system. It also offers a 12V DC output, useful for recharging car batteries. Despite its Polish assembly, the engine is manufactured in China, which may affect perceptions of its origin. A significant downside is its noise level, attributed to a simple muffler, which could be improved. Overall, this generator is a cost-effective solution for ensuring continuous power supply, although it requires better sound insulation.
Pros
Cons
For a country house, such a generator is just a godsend. Over the past couple of years, due to the increased load on the local substation, power outages began to occur. In the summer it was still all right, just an extra inconvenience, but in winter, when the gas boiler turned off during a power outage, this became a serious problem. This small and relatively inexpensive Polish generator has become an excellent backup power supply at any time of the year. The Polish assembly is still better than any factory china. Everything is done neatly, without unnecessary gaps and backlashes, the fasteners are well tightened. The generator is assembled on a durable and easy-to-carry steel tubular frame and weighs up to 50 kg when fully charged. The estimated rated power is only 2000 W, but if you do not show off an electric kettle and a microwave oven, then it is enough. If necessary, they even turned on our small washing machine (activator type, loading up to 5 kg of laundry, without heating) and the generator easily coped. In any case, it has electric current protection circuits and a system that monitors the oil level in the engine crankcase. It has a 12 volt DC output. In winter, I successfully used it to recharge a car battery. Very noisy. Maybe it's the engine, but rather a too simple and small muffler. It turned out that the four-stroke gasoline engine that underlies this generator is marked LB168F and is manufactured in China by Zhejiang China. So I no longer have any illusions about the purely Polish origin of this unit. |
This is not just a current generator - it is a tractor in miniature. Full provision of the house with basic appliances (except iron and electric fireplace. It makes a lot of noise - a better muffler is needed (the Poles just slap a pot made of paper steel.). A large volume of oil - more than 1 liter. i recommend it should buy |
