Dewal's popular German-inspired curling iron is perfect for creating fine zigzag strands and voluminous styling. This is due to the small width (10 mm) of the corrugated plates.

Durability and harmlessness

The working surfaces of the curling iron are made of titanium-tourmaline coating. Titanium improves overall strength and wear resistance compared to ceramics. Tourmaline promotes natural ionization, including the elimination of electronization, increase the manageability of hair and improve their shine. The manufacturer claims that Dewal 03-870 does not injure the hair and does not harm their internal structure.

4 operating modes

The styler supports four temperature modes with clear light indication. The minimum heating temperature is 140 °C, and further options are set in increments of 20 degrees, up to a maximum value of 200 °C. The modes are switched by a mechanical key, however, it is located on the inside of the case near the working plates, which should be attributed to the shortcomings of the device.

The 30-watt heating element ensures that it is ready to operate at the minimum suggested temperature in just 5 seconds after switching on.

A long 2.5-metre wire with a swivel joint is offered for connection to the mains. Thanks to this, it is more comfortable to use the model, and an extension cord is probably not needed. But due to the fact that the tongs themselves are very light, the cord outweighs and makes the device unstable on flat surfaces.

Dewal 03-870 is a flexibly adjustable styler for the formation of small curls on medium and short hair lengths. But with the quick creation of corrugations on long strands, for example, Dewal 03-030Z will do better.
