The functional DEX steam cooker is equipped with three bowls with a total capacity of 12 liters, in which three different dishes can be cooked at the same time.
Uniform distribution
Heated water particles from a 1.5-liter tank are evenly distributed over all baskets not only in the traditional way (through holes in the bottom of each of the bowls), but also through a metal rod in the middle. During cooking, water can be added to the tank without interrupting the power supply — the filler necks for this purpose are located on the sides of the device.
Autocook
The “brain” of the steamer has 6 auto-cooking programs with preset times and temperatures. A clear indication of the selected programme and the time until the end of the cycle of the device are displayed on an informative display with a pleasant blue backlight. At the end of cooking, the steamer gives a sound notification and automatically switches to the heating mode for 1 hour.
Functionality
The positive impressions of the model are slightly smoothed out by only two minor flaws: the small volume of the condensate collection tank, due to which the used liquid sometimes gets into the tank with clean water, and the fact that over time the designations are erased from the device case.
