Model overview based on user reviews
The DJI RSC2 is a compact and foldable stabilizer designed for small cameras, offering features like a 1" OLED display, quick release plate, and tripod stand. It supports a maximum load of 3 kg and provides a 360° rotation angle with various shooting modes such as Time Lapse and Sports Mode. However, users have noted some drawbacks, including a perceived weak battery and difficulties in achieving smooth movements in portrait mode. Additionally, the control ring is reportedly challenging to use while moving, and the Ronin RavenEye image transmitter experiences delays, affecting panning and tracking. Critics also mention that many features are borrowed from competitors, yet the price remains significantly higher. Despite these issues, the stabilizer is praised for its brand reputation and suitability for small cameras, though its value is questioned due to the high price and technical limitations.
Pros

Cons

A good model for small cameras
7 July 2024
Relatively good steed for its price.
Compact, compact, the ability to control the camera parameters using the steppad.
As it seemed, the battery is weak. There is a problem that I cannot solve - when shooting and in portrait mode, the camera wanders and does not lock. It is very difficult to make a smooth penetration. Is this a feature of this model or something needs to be changed in the parameters. I did not find the answer. Who knows - let me know.

I see a lot of positive reviews online and I don't see the truth being told in them. I am a videographer with experience, and I am familiar with different systems, so I don't think my opinion is that subjective. I have described all the drawbacks in the section below. But the main drawback is the price. It's unrealistically high. The Chinese have always been clever guys, so they want to make more money with the release of a new version. Meanwhile, there are many technical shortcomings. Another important aspect to emphasize is the US sanctions, which have already begun to directly affect this Chinese manufacturer. Don't forget that the operation of these devices is connected through the phone. So whether the device will work "tomorrow" is in question.
Name, brand - but there are problems
All features are borrowed from competitors - Gudsen MOZA, FeiYu, Zhiyun Crane, and others. Meanwhile, competitors' prices are about two times lower.

The working weight has been increased, but it's of little use - the axis arms remain small, making it difficult or impossible to mount a bulky camera.
Due to the small compact size, it's hard to hold large cameras (if you've managed to place them at all). However, small cameras have adequate in-body stabilization.

Now about the setting and control ring - it's very difficult to turn while moving. Practically, it's impossible, and it's unclear who among the engineers thought it was a good idea to place it there.

If you buy it separately, it's called a Focus Wheel - but you won't be able to mount it on this RSC2 stabilizer - only on the more expensive RS2 model or older RSC and RS models for the reason that engineers decided to remove it from this model. - a strange marketing move.

Let's move to the main feature - the Image Transmitter - Ronin RavenEye. I expected something good, but it turned out as always - delays in stream transmission are 0.3-0.5 seconds. This is awful. How can you talk about proper panning and tracking with such delays using a $500 smartphone? Not a budget one.

It's much better to use the control functions directly from the camera, thank goodness Wi-Fi has started to be included in almost all modern cameras. In a Camera-phone link, without Ronin RavenEye, the transmission is almost instantaneous.

And the most important thing - is the price. Competitors' prices are almost half, provided that all the "features" of this model are taken from competitors.
