Purchased this machine last fall and joyfully sharpened all the knives in the house :) I really liked that the motor compartment is significantly narrower than the grinding stones and protective covers, allowing easy sharpening of blades of any length by pulling from right to left or vice versa; the main thing is to remember to start sharpening with the coarser stone (grit P36) and finish to a glossy edge with the finer stone (grit P60). I also liked the asynchronous (brushless) network motor and the "soft start" system; the brushless motor with a nominal working power of 420 W turned out to be more "torquey" than its brushed counterpart and almost silent (idle noise level is 60 dBa), and the soft start provides smooth acceleration of the heavy 200-mm grinding stones to working speed, which significantly extends the motor's lifespan.
