Line Domovent C

A range of budget household exhaust fans with front suction, a slim front panel, and a small installation depth. The fan housing and its impeller are made from durable ABS plastic. Devices in this range are positioned as basic price category products that are common solutions for improving air quality in residential, utility, and auxiliary spaces. They are ideal for ventilation systems with low hydraulic resistance, including creating small/medium airflows for short distances.

The lineup includes models with installation diameters of 100, 125, 150 mm and a performance range from 94 to 286 m³/h. The widespread popularity of Domovent C fans is due to their affordable price, simple design, low noise level, and moderate suction speed, sufficient for solving local ventilation tasks. These models have basic protection against dust/splashing water, making them suitable for installation in bathrooms, restrooms, and kitchens. They help remove humid air, eliminating conditions for mold and mildew growth. Some models support useful additional features, as indicated in their labeling. The letter B indicates the presence of a built-in pull-cord switch. The letter T indicates support for a timer function (continued operation after being turned off by a switch for a set time from 2 to 30 minutes).

Model overview based on user reviews
The Domovent C extractor fan is a budget-friendly option available in various models, including Domovent C 100, 125, and 150, among others. It is praised for being cheap and relatively powerful, making it a suitable choice for small spaces like bathrooms. Installation is straightforward, and it performs well in terms of air extraction. However, users have noted that it can be noisy and there are concerns about the motor overheating, which can lead to issues such as melting plastic mounts, misalignment, vibrations, and fan jamming. The blades are not securely fastened, and if they detach, it may be easier to replace the fan rather than repair it. While it performs its main functions effectively in the initial years, its durability over time is questionable. Overall, it's a decent choice if you prioritize cost over longevity and noise levels.

Cons

Well, sort of.

Just right if you don't want to pay a lot. It worked in fits and starts for about 7 years, but performed its main functions without complaints only in the first couple of years. Whether it was this model or a similar one.
Cheap, relatively powerful, quiet.
The motor overheats, causing the plastic mounts to melt, which results in the misalignment of the entire structure, vibrations, and the fan jamming against the casing. The blades are not securely fastened, and if they come off once, it's easier to buy a new fan. Non-repairable.

A great option for a budget hood, if it does not bother the noise of work

vENTS hoods are much quieter, although Domovent was a bit more expensive.
I bought for a bathroom with an area of 4.5 sq.m. Installed under the power button. Pulls out just fine. Great option for your money. Connection does not require effort, everything is clear.
Works noisy.
