A floor standing version of the Dyson rotorless fan with an elliptical blade. When the device is in operation, the air flow is created by an air jet ejected from the slot along the perimeter of the ellipse and entraining the surrounding air — in this way, it is possible to achieve a powerful and uniform air flow (whereas the fans of the classical scheme produce a rather unstable, "chopped" flow). At the same time, the main distinguishing feature of the fan is not even this, but the fact that all moving parts are hidden in the base, and there are none outside at all.
