Model overview based on user reviews
The Edon ED-2603 rotary hammer is a powerful and inexpensive tool, equipped with a case and a comprehensive kit including drills, a chisel, a lance, and a drill chuck with an adapter. It offers versatile functionality with modes for hammer drilling, drilling only, and chiselling. Users appreciate its performance, noting that it drills and chisels effectively, comparable to more expensive brands like Makita. However, some users have reported issues with the reverse function, which requires extra force to engage, though this is not considered a major drawback. Additionally, the tool can become hot after prolonged use, necessitating cooling breaks. Overall, the Edon ED-2603 is a reliable choice for those seeking a budget-friendly yet efficient rotary hammer.
Pros
Cons
Yesterday I bought it and immediately tried it out - I drilled and chiselled a Soviet-era foundation block - the drill goes in like butter. I am satisfied with the purchase. Powerful, inexpensive, there is a case, the kit includes drills, a chisel, a lance, a drill chuck with an adapter. Reverse doesn't work. Counterclockwise does not always work; you have to push the switch with force all the way to make it work. But for me this is not critical. use Edon ED-2603 less than month |
i recommend it to everyone it chisels, drills, and twists just as well as a Makita. after half an hour of intense work, got hot, was afraid to work further, left it to cool down use Edon ED-2603 month or more i recommend it should buy |
