Hybrid advantages
The representative of the Hybrid series of the Eleks brand is a combined type stabilizer. It provides a 9-stage triac responsible for voltage equalization, and it is duplicated by an electromagnetic relay. The model works quieter than relay analogs, but the main advantages of such "filling" are high efficiency (98%) and an extended range of input voltages from 110 to 325 V, due to which cases of protective shutdown due to voltage surges are extremely unlikely.
Eleks Hibrid U 9-1/40 v2.0 has two fans located in the upper part of the case and is designed for wall mounting (for floor mounting, additional accessories are required that are not included in the package).
Ready for serious workloads
The stabilizer is capable of protecting not just one, but all electrical appliances of a private house, cottage or apartment, which is confirmed by the uncontested terminal connection to the wiring. The rated power of the model is 9 kVA, and the current is 40 A. It is worth considering that the errors in alignment should not exceed 7.5%, and a small display is provided for visual indication of operation.
Another feature is the bypass function, i.e. the ability of electronic transit without stabilization. Even in this mode, the protective shutdown is active at voltage below 120 V and above 265 V. The disadvantages of the model include a low response speed to voltage drops (up to 100 ms), so in practice, for example, blinking of lamps is possible. If this is not a critical moment for you, then Eleks Hibrid U 9-1/40 v2.0 is a high-class solution even for protecting equipment in very unstable power grids.
