Under no circumstances buy.

Purchased at Epicenter. Used both regular alkaline batteries from ATB and Ansmann AA 1.5V 2000 mAh (li-ion) rechargeable batteries.

The flashlight does not operate properly on maximum (700 lm) and medium (400 lm) modes—only on minimum (250 lm). Initially thought it was defective, but the situation remained unchanged after a warranty replacement.

In maximum mode, it works for 5-10 seconds, on medium it lasts 3-5 minutes, and then it turns off or dims to an almost imperceptible level.

Currently writing a statement for a refund.

Runs on batteries.

Operates without unexpected shutdowns only at minimum brightness (250 lumens).
