This flashlight was made by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and just like the Russian army, it is durable, reliable and useful in a variety of situations.
Simple and functional
The LED has 2 modes of operation: 100% and 50% aperture. The first generates light with a power of 1800 lm, which is enough to illuminate 1216 metres. In the second, 900 lm and about 500 m, respectively. There is also an additional stroboscopic flashing mode. The lighting is very powerful and given the features of the case, the flashlight can be put to good use.

The chip of the model is the ability to adjust the focus of the light beam. You can make it narrow or diffuse. By the way, it is at a small angle of illumination that a range of 1216 m is achieved. With the widest possible beam, the flashlight confidently illuminates about 200 metres in 100% brightness mode.

The case of the device is made of anodized aluminium with an IP66 tightness class. It is protected from dust, moisture (you can even completely submerge it under water for a short time) and mechanical damage. Power is supplied by 6 AA batteries, which significantly increases the weight. With a length of more than 18 cm, the use of a flashlight for self-defense no longer seems like a joke.
MB 901 is well suited for avid hunters and tourists, but in the city, perhaps, a luminous flux of 1800 lm (by the way, 2 car headlights shine with such a force) is likely to be redundant. That's just a quick discharge of the batteries spoils all the positive impressions - there is a risk of being left in the night forest without light.
