Purchased on ITbox. It sits well on the head, and the strap length is sufficient (doesn't press on a large head in a thin hat). The button is conveniently located at the front on top. The tilt adjustment was very tight: the tab-"spring" in the forehead triangle (plastic) wasn't cut completely - I fixed it with a knife, and now it's fine. The beam cylinder regulator (on a thread) was wobbling and rattling (the spring inside was missing a ball, they forgot it at the factory); I inserted a bearing ball - and now it's fine. However, the cylinder regulator inside has only one sealing ring (and it's too thin), and it seems like a second ring is needed (where there's free space), so moisture protection is questionable here, but you can add grease and look for thicker rings as replacements. The IP protection degree isn't specified, but it will withstand splashes and rain (in my opinion) after modifications (including when the cable ends are sealed with electrical tape). The lens protrudes from the body and may hit during a fall, so I added bumper rings (cut from a bike tire) - it became fine. The battery compartment has yellow contacts and flat springs (no coil springs), but they hold; the compartment is only covered by a rubber lid (like a hood). The entire flashlight is easily disassembled, with screws, which is convenient for servicing and repairs. The construction isn't perfect, the assembly is somewhat sloppy (economy), but it's acceptable - it works and is convenient. How long and how well it will perform remains to be seen. Sturdy appearance. Convenient. Strong and even beam. LED Cree T6 (indicated on the packaging). Threaded beam regulator. Acceptable quality and price. Also works with Ni-MH 1.2V AA batteries. Manufacturer's warranty – 12 months (indicated on ITbox). There are minor flaws and a shortage of 1 or 2 secondary parts, which can mostly be fixed independently. |
