I wanted to make the famous Belgian waffles myself, so I chose an inexpensive waffle iron because I thought I would bake a couple of times and then abandon it. But in fact, I now often treat myself to such a delight. The waffle iron itself is compact and doesn't take up much space in the kitchen, which is great. The body is, of course, plastic, but it looks decent quality. The non-stick coating is very convenient. There was a plastic smell the first time I turned it on, but it later disappeared. The power isn't adjustable, but the waffles bake well anyway. The perfect waffles didn't come out on the first try. You need to practice a little and get the hang of it. The batter needs to be adjusted so it's not too runny. One batch takes about 6-7 minutes to bake, a bit long, but at this price, you shouldn't expect high power. The first time, I grease the surface with oil, and then I just put the batter on, and it doesn't stick to the sides. The waffles bake perfectly, soft on the inside, with a golden crust and very tasty. I'm quite satisfied with the result. Overall, a simple waffle iron for a very affordable price.
