The EUROLUX brand is one of the most demanded welding inverters for the domestic front in the low-cost segment. The priorities of the brand's products are simplicity and reliability of operation. A striking example of this is the IWM250 model.

Functional "baby"

The inverter with modest weight and size indicators (dimensions 31.5x33x38 cm and weight 4.2 kg) is very practical and easy to use. With its help, manual arc welding with electrodes with a diameter of 1.6 to 5 mm is carried out. The device not only provides a large welding current (up to 250 A), but can also “cook” on it for a long time — the duty cycle ratio of the model is 70% (for 7 minutes of continuous operation there are 3 minutes of “smoke break”).

Priorities

From the controls on the front panel of the device there is a potentiometer knob for adjusting the welding current in a wide range of 10-250 A. Also on the “front” are indicators for turning on / overloading the device and power connectors for connecting welding cables. The length and quality of standard wires leave much to be desired, so it is advisable to immediately replace their set.

Omnivorous voltage

The design of the device provides for the functions of hot start and anti-sticking of the electrode. The model did not work out only with arc afterburner, which can be useful at the time of ignition. The unpretentiousness of the device to voltage drops and its drops to 160 V deserves separate flattering words. Summing up, we are presented with an inexpensive welding inverter for domestic needs with flexibility in terms of working “on weight” (from a ladder, fence, etc.).
