Folded into three sections, the umbrella has an original length of 28 cm and weighs very little — 255 g, making it convenient to carry without experiencing extra load and discomfort. The canopy with a diameter of 98 cm is designed for 1 adult, fully covering them from rain, including not only their shoulders but also a small backpack behind them. The umbrella is made from polyester fabric with a Teflon coating, with double seams between segments, making the canopy strong and light, as water rolls off without penetrating the fibers.
Rich Functionality
The shaft of the umbrella is made of aluminum, and the 8 ribs are made of flexible, durable fiberglass, making the frame resilient and corrosion-resistant. A compass is built into the round handle, which is practical for travelers. The handle is made from EVA foam, pleasant to the touch, and not cold. The tip of the shaft is made from the same plastic and is protected from wear.
This model is mechanical, although there is a fully automatic option. The product is packed in a practical case: it includes an aluminum carabiner for attaching to a backpack/belt, a hook, and polyester loops.
The price for all this pleasure, of course, is appropriate, around $70 for the mechanical and $90 for the automatic version, and it would be completely justified if the Light Trek were stormproof, given its travel focus.
