My reliable and faithful companion on hunting and fishing
30 August 2016
I bought it to take with me on hunting and fishing trips where it's tough without a reliable and long-lasting light source. The flashlight didn't disappoint, it's a great device, easy to use, and low-maintenance.
Very powerful light output in turbo mode. An actual spotlight. Reaches far, definitely up to 150-200 meters. It might be visible even farther, but not with my eyesight. You can flexibly adjust the brightness level - from the wild luminosity of turbo mode to a soft glow, sufficient for lighting in a tent, at the minimum. The rechargeable batteries from the set are "not that great." So, I additionally purchased two excellent branded Panasonic 18650 at 3400 mAh. With these, it works unbelievably long. It also has a built-in charge controller that monitors the capacity and automatically decreases brightness at low battery levels. It has a durable and waterproof aluminum body. The flashlight is well assembled, all parts fit tightly, and threads are lubricated. Impact resistant, I dropped it repeatedly on the ground and even on asphalt. It survived all falls without consequences.
The included batteries are quite poor for such a monster. Heavy. The 340 grams of weight are noticeable. The turbo mode is limited in time, it works no more than 25 minutes, but that's not the problem. In this mode, the flashlight heats up significantly. In the summer, the aluminum body can heat up to around 50-55 degrees (by feel). At such temperatures, it's already unpleasant to hold in your hands. It's good that this mode is not needed often.
good model, I liked it

An excellent flashlight, my friends gave it to me to take on fishing trips, but I basically use it everywhere. It stays in the car and often comes in handy. It’s small, fits comfortably in the hand, and is lightweight. It shines powerfully, the beam reaches very far, truly impressive quality. It also came in handy when the lighting was turned off near the house, there were no problems at all, it illuminates very well. It has several power levels, the maximum one is rarely needed. The body is protected from water and dust, I haven't submerged it in water, but in principle, if you're fishing, it's a useful feature, nothing will happen if water gets on it. There are additional modes, although I’ve never used them, there’s an option to send an SOS signal and strobe light. Another advantage is the clear wide beam, pure white color. The flashlight is excellent, worth the money, I use it with pleasure.
