The silver metal case of the Austrian brand First coffee grinder blends well with various kitchen appliances, providing the appliance with additional strength and reliability. Only the bottom is made of plastic, on which there are legs and a compartment for the cord, as well as the junction of the base with the bowl.

Powerful motor and safe operation

The First FA-5486 coffee grinder is equipped with a 200-watt motor. It is responsible for uniform grinding with minimal time, while working quite quietly. The operation of the device is carried out by pressing the cover. Its transparency contributes to greater clarity of the grinding procedure.

For safety of operation, the blocking of switching on without a cover, as well as protection against overheating, is responsible. So that the coffee grinder does not automatically turn off, and the ground coffee does not acquire a bitter, “burnt” aroma, the manufacturer recommends making short pauses between switching on.

Removable bowls

The First FA-5486 coffee grinder is completed with two bowls. Their body and knives are made of metal. A bowl with a double-sided knife is designed for grinding coffee beans. It can grind up to 70 grams at a time. The second container received a cross-shaped knife. It is suitable for grinding other foods, including spices, fruits, peas, nuts, etc. It is recommended to place less than 45 grams here.

Both bowls are removable, which simplifies both the unloading of chopped products and the cleaning process. Containers can be safely washed under running water.

The disadvantage of the First FA-5486 is its rather large dimensions compared to most analogues. Otherwise, the coffee grinder will please with its convenience and additional functionality. If you have little storage space in your kitchen, and you need to grind more than just coffee beans on a regular basis, then you should pay attention to more compact counterparts.
