One of the most affordable models of drills-drivers. Due to its battery power, it is highly mobile and can be used freely in field work and in any other conditions in which it is difficult or impossible to power it from the mains. It is a simple universal single-speed household power tool designed for driving screws, self-tapping screws, screws and other threaded fasteners, as well as drilling holes up to 8 mm in diameter in steel, non-ferrous metals and their alloys, various plastics, wood (up to 25 mm) and any composites based on it.

Thanks to the efficient commutator motor and gearbox, the Forte CDN 1413 drill driver can provide a maximum torque of up to 18 Nm, which is quite enough for any household and many professional tasks. A standard 12 position ratchet clutch is available to limit maximum tightening torque. A quick tool change is provided by a single sleeve keyless chuck. The tool is powered by one 18 Wh (14.4 V) medium capacity nickel-cadmium battery. It does not support fast charging, but it has increased endurance (up to 1500 charge-discharge cycles) and works much better than lithium-ion batteries in conditions of low and negative air temperatures. It is also worth noting the good weight balance and excellent ergonomics of the rubberized handle.
