Forte ST-1600

The oldest of the Forte electric snow blowers is an affordable machine weighing about 11.5 kg, which not only strong men, but also women, along with the elderly, can handle. The model does not burden the operator with excess weight and adequately fulfills the obligations assigned to it for clearing backyard paths from freshly fallen snow.

Snow clearing

The snow thrower is not equipped with the most powerful engine in its class (1600 W), however, in mild European winters, its power is more than enough. The model is unlikely to cope with a thick snow cover, but a snow blanket a little more than 20 cm high is tough for her. The width of the surface processed by the snowplow in one sitting is 40 cm.

Rubberized auger

The auger of the model combines elements of metal and rubber, which is done in order to protect paving slabs from possible scratches. The driving force of electricity is transmitted to it from the engine through the drive belt. In reviews of the model, sometimes there are complaints about its failure and the subsequent long wait for the delivery of spare parts, because it is not possible to choose a drive belt on your own.

Swivel "head"

The chute for ejection of snow in the arsenal of a snow blower rotates its “head” within 180 °, for which a separate rotary handle is provided in the design of the model. The maximum range of snow ejection through the chute is limited to 4 m, which can play a cruel joke when clearing large areas from the snow cover — in some cases, already removed snow will need to be cleaned a second time. All this is offset by the democratic cost of the model and the ability to clean in narrow and hard-to-reach places. The main thing is not to forget to look under your feet, so as not to accidentally interrupt the power cord.
