It has a traditional layout with a fixed cable group, standard overall dimensions and a moderate weight of 1.5 kg. It is built on a modern hardware platform using a highly efficient circuitry solution - a resonant half-bridge LLC converter with a synchronous rectifier and DC-DC converters. Equipped with a full range of protection systems, including OVP (against mains overvoltage), SCP (against short circuit), OCP (against overcurrent). It is positioned as an affordable model of the middle price category, focused on use in high-performance gaming systems equipped with video cards with increased power consumption (TDP up to 250 W). In addition, the FSP...Hydro PRO HP2-600 power supply can power entry-level / mid-level workstations, incl. equipped with professional video adapters. It provides a high level of output voltage stabilization on all lines and good energy efficiency of the 80 Plus Bronze level (efficiency of at least 88% under a load of 50% of the maximum). It can supply current up to 50A (600 W) through the +12V line. Dissipation of the unit's own heat is carried out by a 120 mm fan with a simple plain bearing. It is important that at low and medium loads (up to 350 W) it rotates at a low speed and does not create significant noise. |
