— the presence of an active PFC system in the power supply.The abbreviation "PFC" stands for power factor correction. By itself, the power factor is one of the indicators of the efficiency of the PSU, the closer it is to 1, the better. A correction is provided in order to maximize the power factor. It can be carried out in a passive or active way; the second option is more expensive, but allows you to achieve higher coefficients (up to 0.99), reduces sensitivity to voltage drops and provides better compatibility with uninterruptible power supplies.
