I took such a lamp exclusively for reading in the evening, the idea was to attach it with a clothespin to the windowsill where the bed is actually where it was planned to sit to read, so I looked at some option with just such a mount. I took exactly this one. I liked that there are no replaceable bulbs in it and I hope that you won’t need to change anything there and they won’t burn out like in a regular lamp. It shines quite brightly, I would even say too much, I turn it to the wall because direct light on book sheets hurts the eyes too much. A funny touch button also pleased me, I have not had such a lamp yet. The mount holds well, in principle there is enough wire, but it is not very long there, something about a meter. Another big plus of this lamp is that it can be bent in any direction as you like, adjust the flow of light in the direction you want. The lamp out of the box was odorless, no problems with this, now let's hope that it will work longer. In the interior on a white window sill and with white walls it fits perfectly.
