The Italian manufacturer GA.MA positions the styler as a professional device that can be used both at home and in the salon for work. According to the characteristics, it fully corresponds to this title, but the price tag cannot be called overpriced. The model is a member of the GA.MA Keration family, whose devices focus on the health of the hair and the most gentle effect on them. For this, a special coating of Micro Glitt plates is used, which ensures smooth gliding and protection of natural keratin — the substance responsible for the strength and shine of hair. It is complemented by the 3D Therapy Ultra Ion function: during straightening, the generator releases even more negatively charged ions to retain natural moisture, remove static electricity and add softness and smoothness to hair.

The plates themselves are floating, that is, they spring if you take a strand that is too thick. This technology guarantees uniform pressure and heat distribution, as a result of which the hair does not dry out. The size of each plate is 28x90 mm, that is, they are not too long, but, nevertheless, they can easily cope with thick hair. And the rounded shape also allows you to twist the curls, creating different images.

Also GA.MA Starlight 3D Keration offers flexible temperature settings for any type of hair — from 150 to 230 degrees. Adjustment buttons are located on the inside to prevent accidental pressing, and the selected settings are displayed on the LCD display. Another big advantage is fast heating: the rectifier is ready for operation almost instantly — in just 10 – 15 seconds after switching on.

Since the manufacturer says that this is a professional device, it should be as convenient and useful as possible. And the model fully meets these requirements. A long cord (2.5 m) with a rotating base is responsible for comfort during operation, which does not restrict freedom of movement and does not twist. There is also a loop for hanging, although at this price, the kit still lacks a cover. And security issues fall on the shoulders of the automatic shutdown system: after 60 minutes of continuous operation, the device will turn itself off.
