And this watch is also waterproof and water-resistant. Moreover, it is so water-resistant that you can swim in the pool with it. The screen is black and white, transreflective, and easily readable in the sun. And in the evening and in the dark, the backlight helps out. It works as a heart rate monitor, GPS tracker. It counts steps and calculates your overall physical activity. There is a reminder that helps you maintain this activity throughout the day. This helps if you work a lot while sitting. It connects to a computer and transmits data to plot activity graphs and tracks on a map. With the GPS module turned on, the watch doesn't last very long. I got a maximum of about 7 and a quarter hours. More modern models work twice as long. True, their price will also be steeper. This heart rate monitor determines steps using a built-in electronic gyroscope and it works great while walking. But if you stop to talk and gesticulate animatedly, the gyroscope will still think that the walk is continuing. Such is the flaw. |
