This is one of the smallest dash cams available on our market. Of course, in our time of developed online commerce, the concept of "market availability" partly loses its meaning, but the concept of a warranty remains. Having a full warranty is a significant reason not to order some strange gadget from a Chinese online store, but to buy a dash cam here and get a real warranty. It's so small that I can hide it in my hand (!) and it completely tucks away under the rearview mirror. I really liked the beveled design of the body. Using the included suction cup mount, the dashcam attaches to the windshield, with a bracket design that allows for almost 360-degree rotation. The video quality is excellent, recording clips at 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second, and it's hard to find any fault with the image. There are many settings related to resolution, quality, exposure correction, and other additional effects. I also liked the packaging. It's rare for a set where the charger includes a USB output, which can charge not only the dashcam (it has a built-in battery that lasts 15-20 minutes of filming) but also a phone. There's an 8GB memory card included. The mechanism for attaching the dashcam to the bracket is not very convenient. Specifically, while it's easy to attach, removing it requires great caution to avoid damaging the fragile latch. I never thought this was possible, but I have to complain about the overly sensitive microphone. It picks up everything, including the noise from the car itself, and a conversation just slightly louder than average can overload the microphone, creating gaps in the recording. |

HIGH IMAGE QUALITY. 2. GOOD SOUND QUALITY. 3. COMPACT SIZE DOES NOT BLOCK VIEW. 1. The mount doesn't hold well, it kept detaching. 2. After one year, the battery stopped holding charge. Any trip + 2 min. ignition switch on/off. Every trip you need to reset the date and time = very inconvenient!!! There are no official batteries. Chinese ones from the black market last 1 month and then die. 3. No contact details for official representatives. The most important task I set for myself when choosing a dashcam was the highest quality image possible. Just in case anything happened, there should be no doubts, especially no disappointments like "why did I buy this piece of plastic if I can't even see who went where on the video, let alone the traffic light color!!!". So, in my opinion, a dashcam must have a clear and readable picture above all else!!! The Gazer F121 is one of the smallest display cameras available on the market. It has a very compact suction cup holder on the glass, in which the camera rotates 360 degrees.
Good for both day and night
The F121 is equipped with a sensitive 1/3" CMOS sensor and a high-speed Ambrella A7 processor. The Gazer F121 shoots high-quality images both day and night with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution. The glass lens has a record viewing angle of 160 degrees. On the one hand, it good, because any details of the trip will get into the frame, but on the other hand, it’s bad, because the distance to the objects on the filming will be distorted.
Large amount of memory
During shooting, the F121 can turn off sound recording and block the recording fragment from cyclic erasure. A three-axis accelerometer (G-sensor) also blocks the recording fragment from erasing during instantaneous speed changes (mainly accidents). It even works on sharp acceleration (gas pedal “to the floor”), so there may be unnecessary records in the device’s memory that are protected from erasure. The built-in memory of 512 MB will allow you to copy the key moments of the shooting, if in case of an accident a memory card with the original recording needs to be attached to the protocol.
