Outdated Product
A mid-range car DVR, primarily notable for its convenient foldable design — the opening 2.5-inch display can be easily "hidden" so that it does not restrict the driver's view. The device provides high-quality audio and video recording at a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels at a frequency of 30 fps, but the viewing angle of the camera lens is limited to 135 °, which can be attributed to “below average” indicators. It should be noted that the model has a "night shooting" mode implemented using WDR technology, which allows you to get a better image with strong changes in illumination within the frame — such an image will not have too dark or overexposed areas. Video recording can be carried out as a "single file" or cyclically — small rewritable clips. Gazer F525 has a special motion sensor that...automatically turns on the device when motion is detected. The function of titrating the date and time on the image is provided. The equipment is powered directly from the cigarette lighter, but it also has its own 500 mAh battery, which allows you to capture what is happening outside the car if necessary.

shoots well, works stably
9 December 2014
I spent a long time choosing a dashcam, and I didn't even think that we had such a wide range of models, and I settled on this one. There's a lot of good reviews of this model online, so I'll try to describe some details you only learn during use. Overall impressions are great, it records well, works stably, requires minimal attention, easy to use, the brand is well-known and, most importantly, reliable.

When I bought it, I was worried about the operating temperature, if it wouldn't get too hot in winter, but in summer, noises could appear on the image due to matrix overheating. So after buying it, I immediately started testing it, turned it on overnight, and placed it in the warmest spot (about 30 degrees). In the morning, I compared the video from the cold dashcam, and didn't notice any changes in the footage, the video was still without noise or blur.

I've been using it for 1 month now, and I'm satisfied with the purchase. I bought exactly what I expected, an ordinary, simple, quality dashcam.
a regular, simple, high-quality recorder.
The IR illumination works only for a few meters at most, so it was immediately turned off and hasn't been needed yet. There's no shock sensor, and from personal experience, it's only necessary if the dashcam is designed to record while parking. In other cases, it's as unnecessary as the IR illumination, just so it doesn't cause any hassle. As for drawbacks, it's the device's size and the absence of a GPS tracker.

good model, I liked it
28 October 2016
I recently bought a new car, of course, I got insurance, but I still decided to buy a new dash camera. My old one records images of such poor quality that in the event of an incident, it would be impossible to make out license plates. Thankfully, I've driven with it for four years without any serious incidents. To buy a decent model and not some cheap Chinese nonsense, I asked a friend who sells automotive electronics for advice. He recommended a dash camera that's simple, high-quality, and hassle-free. I've been using it for two months now and I can say that I am more satisfied than not.
About the advantages in order. An elongated body in the longitudinal plane that doesn't block the view, proper mounting, a convenient swivel screen that can be tucked away when not needed, which is quite often. A good lens coverage angle. According to the specifications, it's 135 degrees, which is the maximum without a strong "fisheye" effect. The image quality is excellent; compared to my old Chinese model, it's like night and day. A true FullHD with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 30 frames per second looks very decent on a desktop PC. I didn't think WDR would really affect the image, but when shooting against bright light, the image with WDR and without it is noticeably different. The detail in the dark areas of the image with active WDR is much better. The sound quality is on par with a microphone from an inexpensive computer stereo headset, which is not bad, but flat and lacks timbre. A good package that even includes a microSD card of 8GB (they could have included 16, as 8 is neither here nor there). Officially certified.
The biggest inconvenience for me personally is that there's no protection against overwriting already recorded footage. So, in order to save a fragment, you have to stop recording altogether, otherwise, it will be overwritten by a newer recording. The white balance is awful, but that's me being picky.

135-degree viewing angle with Full HD recording resolution, has a video enhancement function, records sound well, and the nighttime picture is quite decent, noise-free. It comes with an 8 GB memory card, but I recommend buying a 32 GB one right away. I use the mount with 3M tape; with the vacuum mount, the dashcam looks quite large. The power adapter doesn't cause interference. I'm not a fan of advanced features, but personally, this dashcam lacks a G-sensor, especially considering it's not cheap. Otherwise, there are no complaints; the quality is high and worth its price.
the quality of the filming is excellent
no shock sensor, large dimensions
