An alternative to reverse osmosis systems from Geizer uses nanotechnology to guard the purity of water. The membrane with the prefix "nano" removes all contaminants, but at the same time allows you to partially preserve the mineral composition of the water.

The devil is in the details

At first glance, the water treatment system is almost indistinguishable from the popular Geizer Prestige model. Water purification in it is also carried out according to the five points of the programme, but the devil, as you know, is in the details. The first significant difference is a branded BAF cartridge at the second stage of water treatment, containing a “filling” based on sorbents and ion-exchange materials. Its forces remove organic impurities, iron, manganese chlorine from the water, and eliminate turbidity. The rest is the care of the aforementioned nanomembrane.

nanomembrane

In the hierarchy of household water treatment systems, the nanomembrane model is located exactly in the middle between reverse osmosis filters and ultrafiltration membrane specimens. At the exit from it, water retains useful substances, and the decrease in the concentration of hardness salts in it reaches 80-85%, due to which you can safely forget about scale problems. Only a small resource of the membrane is upsetting — 3.5K liters, which, taking into account its high cost, does not suit the model for the future.

Drinking water reserves

Out of the box, the Geizer Nanotek comes with everything you need to install the system (except, of course, tools), as well as a capacious 12-liter storage tank. The tank occupies a decent amount of space under the sink, however, it stores enough clean drinking water supplies even in case of an unscheduled shutdown of the water supply. The model from the cohort of mid-range filters sets a new stage in the development of household water treatment systems and will find itself in households where families of 4-5 people live.
