I bought this SSD in January for 1.8k, the 120 GB version. It has been working for almost a month now. Everything works perfectly, no problems have occurred during operation. I definitely recommend it. Excellent features, stated write and read speeds, doesn't heat up at all. Minor nitpick. No bolts are included for mounting in the package. |
Bought it for my laptop to replace the old HDD, and the speed boost is just incredible! Installed new Windows on this SSD, and it went on without any issues. Out of the stock 480 GB, 447 GB is available for the system after installation. The speeds are also fantastic, even above the advertised on a clean disk! Overall, for its price, this is the perfect SSD, I recommend it! Speed, volume, price The packaging design is simple, but that's a matter of personal taste. |

The second installation led to even greater slowdowns, and a reboot resulted in the controller firmware crashing.
So, the "drive's" lifespan was three hours... cool, right? What can you do... I decided to buy this trash myself and open it up to short the service pads and proceed with the firmware. I fully understand that the warranty and the 1800 rubles spent were down the drain, but I had to go through this quest to learn for myself never to buy such SSDs again.
I won't detail a couple of wasted evenings, but I'll just say that the drive only stopped turning into a brick when flashed to 60 gigabytes. And what does that mean? It means the flash memory was done for, straight out of the box...
For the record, the memory was YMTC TLC 16k, even though the seller mentioned Toshiba chips. The second unit didn’t give me any trouble (knock on wood), it works... I hope it'll last at least a year.
