Model overview based on user reviews
The Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 is highly praised for its performance in European winter conditions, offering excellent grip on wet and dry asphalt, as well as on snow. Users appreciate its quiet and soft ride, with minimal wear over multiple seasons. The tires are noted for their predictable handling and resistance to aquaplaning, making them ideal for mild winters with alternating snow and rain. While they perform well on most surfaces, some users mention that they are less effective on ice, which is typical for non-studded tires. Overall, the Ultra Grip 9 is considered a great value for money, with many users planning to repurchase them.

does not blow away and does not keep the course when cornering and maneuvering, confidently slow down on wet asphalt and snow, generally quite expected and predictable confident behavior on the road, silent and rather wear-resistant traction, confident braking and acceleration harsh use Goodyear Ultra Grip 9 205/55 R16 91T more than year |
I specifically chose not very heavy winter tyres and I was not mistaken in my choice. The perfect combination of price and quality. Soft all the bumps and seams in the asphalt passes quietly. On snow behaves perfectly. On ice, it is standard for friction rubber. On ice, only studded tyres behave well, and then only new ones. Quiet, soft. Excellent road holding on packed snow. Slightly worse ice. |
soft. does not make noise. behaves well in wet, snow. not so good on ice |
