The enamelled worktop is finished in ivory, while the aged appearance of the model is enhanced by the shape and gold coloring of the rotary switches. As befits a traditional stove, reliable cast-iron grates are offered for placing dishes. The Gorenje GW 642 CLI hob supports the functions relevant for gas appliances, including auto-ignition and a gas control security system. Consequently, matches are not needed at hand, and in the event of an attenuation of the fire, the fuel supply is automatically cut off. The two distant burners are identical in size (7.35 cm) and power (equivalent to 1.8 kW). In the front on the right is a small (diameter 5.37 cm), and on the left — a large (12.3 cm) t...urbo burner with two flame circuits, designed to accommodate wok-pans and instant cooking / boiling (power 3.5 kW).
