Automatic backlight AdaptLight
The Gorenje Simplicity WHI 6 SYW wall-mounted fireplace hood belongs to the middle price category and is included in the Simplicity series, which differs from other products in terms of adaptability and automation. For example, in this model, the AdaptLight backlight function does not require manual intervention: the built-in motion sensor automatically turns on LED lighting (2x3 W) when it detects you at the stove. The device has the usual design of a painted metal box with a glass screen and is connected to an air duct with a diameter of 150 mm. The sloping worktop has received an Antifinger protective coating that does not leave fingerprints. In addition to the present model in white, buyers are also offered the Gorenje WHI 6 SYB in black. Both modifications are manufactured at the company's plant in Poland.

The 266 W electric motor allows for maximum productivity of 488 m³ / h in recirculation mode. In extraction mode, the hood can operate at 3 speeds with a capacity of 230 m³/h minimum, 410 m³/h medium and 650 m³/h high. The PAS perimetric air intake system, while increasing the efficiency of air purification, reduces energy consumption and noise levels. The model is equipped with an electronic control panel with touch switches, in which the OptiStart power button starts the operation of the hood at medium power without additional settings. The appliance is equipped with an aluminium grease filter with polyurethane foam, a recirculation kit with a carbon filter and an air duct return valve. When carrying and mounting, the relatively large weight of the device (16 kg) should be taken into account.
