Small and inexpensive device for watering beds

GRINDA 8-427689 is a small and very simple platform sprinkler designed to be placed on a support (like a stool or an overturned bucket) or directly on the ground. He waters the beds or lawns with a "fan" of water, turning back and forth. The spread of water can be controlled by adjusting the sprinkler for a specific area. The sprinkler has three operating modes, each of which has a different number of nozzles (6, 12 or 19), due to which it is possible to change the width of the irrigated zone. With the help of a "twist" designed to adjust the pressure, the amount of water ejected and, accordingly, the intensity of irrigation changes.

Pond water won't work

The device is made of impact-resistant plastic. But it has a non-separable design. That is, it is almost impossible to disassemble the sprinkler in order to clean it from blockages and remove grains of sand that have got inside. Therefore, this sprinkler should only be used where the water has a more or less "tap" quality: free of solid particles, silt and rust.

Sprinkler for a small area

Due to the small irrigation area (only 112 m² in the most "powerful" of the three possible modes), the GRINDA 8-427689 sprinkler is not suitable for irrigating large lawns and vegetable gardens. It should be used only where the size of the area irrigated in one run is not more than one hectare. But the low performance is fully offset by the low price of the sprinkler itself, as well as the hoses and connectors needed to connect it to a pump or water tap.
