The Grohe Blue Pure 33249 combination kitchen tap is a representative of the major league of European sanitary ware. This is immediately evident when you first get acquainted with the model: the quality of the Grohe StarLight outer coating, attention to small details of execution, rich equipment and, alas, a considerable price. The device is used to supply and adjust the temperature of water for domestic use, as well as an autonomous source of clean drinking water, which flows through a separate channel after filtration.

Curved spout with two outlets

The design of the model is distinguished by the unusual shape of the spout for this class of devices. The German manufacturer decided to move away from the classic rectangular bend of the “gander” with two outlets, making it arched here. With this design, there is nowhere to place an additional outlet for drinking water. Raw and filtered water enters through a single outlet, which has a proprietary integrated aerator. Cold drinking water is supplied through the central tube, and mixed water is supplied through the rest of the aerator. The tubular tap spout, which can be rotated through 180°, has a jet height of 253 mm and a construction depth of 225 mm, which is the optimal balance for ease of use of the tap.

Technological innovation model

The device is equipped with a Grohe SilkMove ∅ 35 mm ceramic cartridge, installed under the side single-lever water pressure and temperature regulator. The supply of cold filtered water is controlled by a 1/2 inch ceramic valve head, which does not have a lever. Of particular note is the rich equipment of the device, which includes 5 flexible hoses for the Grohe QuickFix Plus quick installation system, a mounting kit, a starter filter with an adjustable head with a cleaning resource of 600 liters of water, a wall-mounted filter holder, additional fittings for connecting the filter and a network electronic unit with LED filter consumption indicator.
