Model overview based on user reviews
The Grunhelm EKS-7518 electric kettle is a budget-friendly option with a power consumption of 2000 W and a capacity of 1.8 L. It is made of stainless steel and features a hidden heating element. While it is praised for its affordable price and durability, some users have noted issues such as an inconvenient lid, loud operation, and a short power cord. Over time, there may be a loss of contact between the kettle and its platform. Despite these drawbacks, it is considered a reliable choice for those seeking a basic kettle that can last for a few years. The product is a typical example of mass-produced kettles, offering standard features without any advanced functionalities.

Is it cheap? Yes! Does it work? Yes!

If the device looks like a Grunhelm kettle, boils water like a Grunhelm kettle, and has all the characteristics of a Grunhelm kettle... does that make it a Grunhelm kettle? Yes and no! The thing is, this kettle is just a flawless example of mass production.

Somewhere there is a giant factory in China, you stamp out kettles, then manufacturers like this one buy them, stick their name on it, put it in their own box, and sell it as their product. I'm not joking, open the electric kettles section and select in the filter from "cheapest to most expensive." Chosen? What do you see? They are all the same, more or less. Maybe the lid is different somewhere, maybe the light indicator differs. But the base is the same. So, by buying one such kettle, you have immediately tried them all. But that doesn't make it bad.

I had three of these, the cheapest I bought for 150 UAH, for the office in the car workshop. The first one left me after three years, the second one stayed in the workshop, and I bought the third one for the summer house. So. They are quite durable, meaning they will definitely last a few years. The one in the workshop worked every day, boiling about 2.5 liters of water a day, and it can still do that.

The heating element in the kettle is hidden, and the body is not solid, meaning leaks are possible over time. The volume is standard. Before this, I had an old Tefal, with a capacity of 1 liter, which was really not enough for me, especially as someone who is used to drinking tea from containers of 600-800 ml.
Price. Durability. If it breaks, I'll buy a new one with the change from ice cream.
Inconvenient lid for opening Loud The jug is not solid Short cord Over time, there may be a loss of contact between the kettle and the platform; that's how my first kettle went out of service.
