The American company for the production of sound equipment for home and car Harman Kardon has always stood out for quality products. This is exactly what the new Bluetooth speaker One turned out to be, created in collaboration with the Taiwanese NTS - a reliable device with a strict elegant design and quite decent sound.

The black metal case with embossed grilles on both sides and the company logo on the front panel looks quite stylish and pleasant to the touch. The control buttons are located on the left side, and on the right are the audio jack and charging port with LED battery indicators. There is support for NFC, which allows you to instantly exchange data with another device that supports the technology, however, at a distance of less than 2-3 cm. But Bluetooth, although not so fast for transmission, but maintains a stable connection within a radius of up to 25 metres on a flat terrain.

The single-way speaker produces clear and crisp sound without distortion or vibration, even at maximum volume. Harman Kardon One is especially good at mid and low frequencies.

The battery provides continuous operation of the device up to 5 hours. One can be used as a telephone loudspeaker, for which it has a built-in speakerphone. The microphone works quite well, thanks to the noise reduction system - speech is heard clearly and legibly. Connecting to a smartphone is done using the HTC Connect app. A simple swipe with three fingers on the smartphone screen - and the music is already playing. The device comes with a protective soft case.

Harman Kardon One is one of the best options in its segment and is entirely suitable for connoisseurs of solid portable speakers. No significant downsides have been identified.
