Outdated Product
A low-cost model, which at the same time has a lightweight design (the weight of the product is only 4 kg), the necessary functionality and the proper level of security. According to the ADAC crash test results, the experts of the General German Automobile Club gave this car seat a “good” (+) rating. The product is suitable for children from 3 to 12 years old, weighing from 15 to 36 kg (weight groups II and III). It is installed in the direction of travel and fastened by regular car seat belts. Given the age category, the car seat does not have its own seat belts. The child, as well as the product itself, are fixed by car seat belts. The Heyner MaxiProtect AERO child car seat is equipped with a removable backrest. This means that after dismantling it, the chair can be used as a booster (a...kind of bench that provides a higher landing of the child on the car seat). Adjusting the height of the headrest will help to optimally adjust it to the height of a small passenger. Car seat covers are made of microfibre — soft and pleasant to the touch material, the structure of which provides good air exchange, which is especially important in summer. The process of their cleaning greatly facilitates the removable type of covers. They are recommended to be washed by hand at 30°C or on a delicate cycle in a washing machine.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Heyner MaxiProtect AERO car seat is designed for children aged 3 to 12 years, covering weight groups 2 and 3. It features a lightweight design, weighing only 4 kg, and offers adjustments such as headrest height and a removable backrest. The seat is installed using a seat belt in a forward-facing position. However, a user review highlights some concerns, noting that the seat lacks attachment to the car seat, causing it to dangle and even fall when not in use. Additionally, fastening the child can be inconvenient as it requires leaning into the car. The material is described as cheap, and the seat is considered overpriced compared to models with Isofix. The reviewer regrets the purchase and advises investing in a car seat with Isofix for better stability and convenience.
Pros

Cons

I regret purchasing this chair. It’s 2 thousand more expensive to buy with Isofix.

Don’t skimp on a car seat; be sure to get one with Isofix.
Light (I don’t know now if this is an advantage or a disadvantage)
There is no attachment to the car seat. When installed in the center in the back seat, when there is no child, it dangles from side to side and even falls. It is very inconvenient to fasten a child; you have to climb into the car and lean over the child to fasten the seat belt. Overpriced, cheap material.
