Stunt scooter specialist brand HIPE has updated its flagship H9 model for 2021, making it even more reliable. The main change was the use of the SCS compression system instead of the HIC. It is almost perfect for street style riding, resistant to high jumps and hard landings, ready for professional tricks.
In addition, if earlier the handlebar and fork mounting system was supplemented by a 2-bolt clamp, then the HIPE H9 2021 uses a 4-bolt clamp. And with the help of an integrated steering column, it was even possible to reduce the overall weight of the model: it is now 4.25 kg compared to 4.41 kg.
Model deck
The main feature of the scooter is a high-quality aircraft-grade aluminium deck. It has large dimensions (55x14 cm) and a solid leg length margin of 40 cm. At the same time, thanks to the cutout in the centre, the board is not too heavy and has excellent aerodynamic characteristics.
And the deck also has welded edges that better cope with impacts, the correct rectangular shape and square rear dropouts (protrusions in which the wheel is fixed). With them, there is no need to install pegs to perform slides on curbs and railings: they can be performed on the board itself.

Pleasant features of the model include fairly large (diameter 12 cm) wheels with a wide profile, ABEC 9 bearings and a high handlebar suitable for riders 160 – 190 cm tall.
