The Hoco DV4 model is released as an overlay for a standard interior rearview mirror. The recorder is fixed to it using two clamps.

Hidden execution

In this design, the device does not attract excessive attention from the street. It is possible to see a video recorder in it only by indirect signs - a protruding lens, buttons at the bottom of the case and a small screen under the reflective surface of the mirror. The recorder's display has a diagonal size of 4.5 inches and displays an image in a resolution of 854x480 pixels.

All-round view

Hoco DV4 instantly “sees” the traffic situation both in front of and behind the car. The front camera of the device records in Full HD frame resolution (1920x1080 pixels), while the rear camera records in HD format (1280x720 pixels). The image quality of the model is quite mediocre, but without any obvious flaws. When you engage reverse gear, the image from the external camera can be automatically displayed on the car recorder screen to help with parking.

USB type C power port

Many recorders still use the archaic miniUSB power connector, but the model in question stands out from the rest - it has a USB type C port. In case of a power outage from the vehicle's on-board network, the device has a built-in 200 mAh battery. The recorded videos are supposed to be stored in the microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 128 GB - the flash drive will need to be purchased separately.
