The gas convector Hosseven HDU-5 DK has some design flaws. Although manufactured in Turkey, it's quite possible it's made by Chinese. Let's start with the manual, as usual. For this same model, there are several instructions that contradict each other, but that's a minor flaw (those who understand will get it). However, it's tricky to figure out where to insert the battery because it's not shown anywhere in the instructions. For example, even a knowledgeable salesperson told me to remove the heater grill and insert it on the side, which is incorrect – it should be inserted OUTSIDE WITHOUT REMOVING THE GRILL. But the main issue is that this heater lets combustion products into the room, and the assembly itself is unreliable, with the pipe secured by just one self-tapping screw. The instructions state it should be fixed with two screws, but there are three holes in the pipe, and it's impossible to screw in all three screws. The combustion chamber itself consists of two halves fastened by four bolts with simple nuts without lock washers. After a year of heating and cooling, they will weaken, and what happens next is anyone's guess. The heater itself is cast iron, weighing about 25 kg, and it is mounted on a thin metal sheet that is attached to the wall. While searching for where to insert the battery, I couldn't contact the manufacturer or supplier. In general, it's "pure Chinese," and the best price should be 10000 because, after all, it heats up to 30 square meters quite normally if there is no draft from the windows and doors. If you have a larger space, don't buy it – you'll just waste your money. There is an opportunity to fix the shortcomings yourself. Not as safe as advertised, combustion products may enter the heated room, the diagrams in the instructions are simply useless and the instructions contain inaccurate and false information.
