Decent cooler for small office and home

The HotFrost D65E desktop cold and hot water dispenser is perfect for installation in a small office or a house where up to 4 people live. The device is designed for indoor use in the subnormal climate zone (SN) with an ambient temperature of +10 °C to +32 °C. This cooler model has a layout typical for this class of products and is made in a snow-white plastic case. The device uses bottled water, for which a special socket is provided in the removable insert. The cooler has built-in functions of electronic cooling (Peltier elements) and electric heating (TEH) of water, which, after thermal treatment, comes from separate tanks to the taps for supply. The option of heating and cooling water becomes available after turning on the cooling system and the heating element using the buttons located on the back of the device. The taps are controlled by contact pressing a glass, and the hot water faucet is also supplemented with a blocking button (protection from children).

Class A heating energy efficiency

The liquid cooling capacity to approximately 15 °C is 0.6 L/h (energy efficiency class A), which makes it possible to fully treat water in a 0.6 L plastic tank. The thermoelectric cooling system consumes only 80 W of power. And to heat water up to 90 °C, you will need a full heater power of 420 W, which allows you to prepare up to 4 liters of hot water within an hour (energy efficiency class B). To get this amount of boiling water, the water in a 1 liter steel hot water tank must be refreshed 4 times, each time heated to the desired temperature. Since simple mechanical taps do not have a “drop stop” shut-off valve, the device has a drip tray to collect water drops. The cooler, manufactured by the Chinese company HotFrost Ltd., is designed for a 7-year service life, and the manufacturer gives a 2-year warranty on it.
