They have a fairly high noise reduction coefficient - 30 dB. With directional stereo microphones that pick up external sounds and a digital processor that amplify the signal, the user can clearly hear commands, voices, footsteps and other sounds that are important when hunting or working at the shooting range.

And for pulsed sounds (like gunshots) that exceed 82 dB, the Howard Leight Impact Pro's active headphone system instantly turns off and operates only in passive mode, providing noise reduction. The cups are attached to a comfortable wide headband. Using special mounts, which are purchased separately, you can attach the headphones to the helmet. On the left earcup there is an AUX jack for a 3.5 mm plug, through which you can connect an MP3 player or radio station. Two AAA batteries are used as power sources, providing up to 350 hours of headphone operation.
