For multitasking
The HP 250 G5 is one of the cheapest 15.6-inch laptops with 4GB of RAM on the market. We strongly do not recommend buying an even more low-cost model with 2 GB of RAM. Because only the Windows operating system and, for example, the Chrome web browser, not to mention additional applications, eat up more RAM.
forced economy
The HP 250 G5 screen is made using VA technology. Typically, such displays, although they are inferior in halftone accuracy to IPS matrices, are significantly superior to TN counterparts in brightness, contrast, and especially viewing angles. But not this time: apparently the cheapest type VA is used, which is no better than TN. Small vertical viewing angles are especially depressing - you just have to tilt your head a little, the contrast immediately decreases. However, it would be strange to ask for more from the screen of such a low-cost laptop.
No hurry
But the main disadvantage of the HP 250 G5 and the main reason for its cheapness is the low-power Intel Celeron N3050 processor. It has only two cores, and even the outdated Braswell architecture. Such a processor, it seems, handles with all tasks, except for demanding games (the fault of the low-performance Intel HD 400 integrated graphics), but it does its job very slowly. But laptops with more powerful processors (eg Pentium N4200) are much more expensive. Therefore, we still recommend the HP 250 G5 for buyers with a very limited low-cost.
