Model overview based on user reviews
The HTRC P20 is a versatile and affordable charging device compatible with various battery types, including LiFePO4 and lead-acid. Users appreciate its high-quality assembly and soft silicone cables with strong connectors. It retains the last settings in memory, which is convenient during power outages. However, the device does not consistently deliver the claimed 20A charging current, with users reporting a maximum of around 16-17.2A. A common issue is the noisy and fast fan, which some users had to replace for quieter operation. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a cost-effective option for those needing a reliable charger, especially for LiFePO4 batteries.

It was bought mainly for charging LiFePO4 as the cheapest option for 20A Chinese ones. The maximum charge current that I saw on it when charging a heavily discharged LiFePO4 100 Ah was 17.2A, while the BMS of the battery itself showed 15A. It is not known what algorithms the Chinese put into it, so it is desirable that the LiFePO4 battery has a reliable BMS with settings. When charging lead batteries, the current drops to 1A, after which the charging process ends.
One of the most affordable options for LiFePO4, quite high-quality assembly, soft silicone cables, strong and reliable connectors. Retains the last settings in memory, which is convenient during power outages.
Does not issue the declared 20A. The Chinese installed the cheapest, fastest and loudest fan that could be found. In my case, this fan killed its bearing at high speeds already on the third use of charging. The fan had to be replaced with a slower and quieter one and the air holes in the case had to be slightly enlarged. The price of sellers in Ukraine is very high.

Easy to set up, high-quality build. Great charger!

Excellent device. Probably the best in the 20A charger category for this price. It easily charged a deeply discharged 100Ah battery that had been drained by a Volt Polska Sinus PRO-800E UPS.
First off, the unit has some real heft (not an empty shell), unlike many similarly sized Chinese models. The kit includes high-quality, flexible cables with strong clamps, and the plastic doesn’t smell and is very well put together.
That’s not the case! People say the fan is loud. I don’t agree! It’s not loud at all for a device this size. When the unit is delivering maximum charging current, the power components need reliable cooling. At minimal charging current, the fan slows down and you can barely hear it.

very noisy. Had to replace the cooler with a quiet one. The temperature hasn't changed.
Does not deliver the claimed 20A. There are 2 x 100A lead-acid batteries. Charges them at a maximum of 16A.
