For low temperatures

Updated in 2019, the mummy sleeping bag (aka cocoon) of the HUSKY trademark, as before, is offered in khaki colours and is positioned as a universal solution for low temperatures and any season, including winter.

However we should make an amendment that under our harsh winter conditions, the model is only able to protect against hypothermia (t extreme according to the EN 13537 standard reaches 17 °C below zero). But it is really worth counting on a comfortable overnight stay in the HUSKY Army without additional clothing (in addition to thermal underwear) at temperatures around zero degrees, down to frosts down to -4 °C. Therefore, for demi-season trips to nature, as well as expeditions to the mountains without extreme sports, a sleeping bag is suitable.

Quality materials and accessories

As a sleeping bag insulation, Hollowfibre, a synthetic material that is popular today, is used. There are two layers and four hollow channels designed to improve the thermal insulation properties. Outside is a polyester protective coating, and inside is a soft nylon lining. Traditionally for the HUSKY brand, the model is characterized by high quality cut and great attention to detail.

Familiar equipment features today include an adjustable hood and thermal collar, external and internal pockets, zipper options (requires left and right zip versions), hanging loops and a compression sack. And outside from the back there is a compartment for a mat or an inflatable rug. Thanks to him, the sleeping bag should not slide to the floor of the tent during sleep.

Balance of size and comfort

The length of the cocoon is 220 cm (for height up to 195 cm), and the width at the shoulders is 80 cm, which is considered the standard value for a traveler of average build. With such dimensions, the model boasts not the largest folded volumes (less than 25 liters or 40 by 25 cm) and an acceptable weight of 1.86 kg. All in all, the HUSKY Army is a well-balanced sleeping bag for hiking or cycling.
