The Hyundai BS 900 grinder is a workhorse for a small workshop. It has a very simple (even, frankly, outdated) design. But thanks to the relative simplicity, the device turned out to be strong and quite reliable. The manufacturer even gives a three-year warranty on equipment, which is very uncharacteristic for a tool in the lower price segment.
Advantages and disadvantages
The device is equipped with a 900-watt motor (a very decent figure for belt sanders), thanks to which a high belt speed is achieved (up to 400 m / min). There is an electronic speed control unit that allows you to smoothly change the speed. The design of the tool provides for the possibility of installing the machine in an upside down position (clamps are included, which are necessary for fastening to the table), which allows using the device as a miniature grinder.
But the machine is not without drawbacks. The box-shaped plastic dust collector does not hold dust very well due to inefficient liners. Many users also have complaints about the design of the belt tension regulator (under load, the belt can slip off the rollers a little, and you have to lift the tool to get it back into place).
