The ID-COOLING SE-206-XT is a powerful active cooler designed to provide effective cooling of modern Hi-End processors like Ryzen 9 or Intel Core i9, which in normal mode can generate an impressive 100-125 W of heat and 230-250 W during auto overclocking. It is also perfect for installation in tandem with a slightly less powerful CPU if the owner does not want to use it at full power to improve the acoustic characteristics of the system.

The noise level declared by the manufacturer at peak load can reach a moderate 35 dB, and the minimum noise level is only 15 dB. The fan speed controller operates in PWM mode, allowing you to automatically adjust the rotation speed depending on the processor temperature in the range from 700 to 1800 rpm. The cooler is equipped with two 120 mm fans with hydrodynamic bearings, which guarantee a long service life with a reduced noise level.

This dual-tower design, although it looks quite bulky, allows for efficient hot air removal, which further optimizes the system. Another important element of the system is a cluster of arc-shaped heat pipes, which minimize heat loss and increase the overall efficiency of the system. The cooler supports multiple sockets, including AMD AM4 and AM5, as well as Intel 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, and 1200. It is mounted using a double-sided backplate, which ensures reliable fixation of a fairly large and heavy structure to the motherboard.
