A Russian-made jackhammer is designed for particularly difficult work, such as destroying old asphalt, concrete over 15 cm thick, etc. This is facilitated by a large impact force of 25 J. Unlike other chippers, Interskol M-25/1500 has a cartridge not SDS Max, but SDS Hex for chisels, drills and peaks with a hexagon at the end. This design is necessary to ensure that the nozzle does not fly out of the cartridge during operation. The fact is that there is no striker in the design, but only a muffled end, which does not transmit impulses to the working tool, but hits directly on it. This increases impact force and efficiency, but at the same time increases wear on the bit.

Heavy but powerful

A powerful 1500 W motor provides a working body impact frequency of up to 1400 beats/min. Although it is lower than other models in its class, each blow is delivered with greater force. Thus, the chipper “beats” slower, but much stronger. It is worth noting that the unit weighs as much as 17 kg, so it will not work for a long time. The diameter of the nozzles exceeds 30 mm, so during work you can use them as a blade, breaking out large pieces of material. Unfortunately, the model does not have vibration protection, and the vibration from this “monster” is decent.

Strong concrete turns to dust

For the most part, the Interskol M-25/1500 jackhammer is used for road work, demolition of concrete grade 600 and higher (pavement concrete), and dismantling of old coatings. The design includes a power button locking system. Some builders note high oil consumption, but this is often due to the intensity of work in which Interskol M-25/1500 is used. The bumper is also very noisy (106 dB), so it is recommended to wear headphones when working.
