For total destruction
The Russian-made demolition hammer is designed for especially hard work, such as the destruction of old asphalt, concrete over 15 cm thick, etc. This is facilitated by a large impact force of 25 J. Unlike other chippers, Interskol M-25/1500 has a cartridge not SDS Max, but SDS Hex for chisels, drills and a peak with a hexagon at the end. This design is necessary so that during operation the nozzle does not fly out of the cartridge. The fact is that there is no striker in the design, but only a muffled end, which does not transmit impulses to the working tool, but strikes directly at it. This increases the impact force and efficiency, but at the same time increases tip wear.
Heavy but powerful
The powerful motor of 1500 W ensures the impact frequency of the working body up to 1400 beats/min. Although it is lower than in other models of this class, each blow is made with more force. Thus, the chipper "hollows" more slowly, but many times stronger. It is worth noting that the unit weighs as much as 17 kg, so they will not work for a long time. The diameter of the nozzles exceeds 30 mm, so during operation you can use them as a blade, breaking out large pieces of material. Unfortunately, there is no vibration protection in the model, and the vibration from this “monster” is decent.
Strong concrete turns to dust
For the most part, the Interskol M-25/1500 demolition hammer is used for roadwork, destruction of concrete grade 600 and higher (bridge concrete), and dismantling of old coatings. The design provides a system for blocking the power button. Some builders note a high oil consumption, but often this is due to the intensity of the work in which the Interskol M-25/1500 is used. Also, the bump stop is very noisy (106 dB), so it is recommended to wear headphones when working.
