The three-person tent from Jack Wolfskin is a universal solution bridging the mid and advanced class. Its dome shape provides simple setup and wind resistance. Recommended for use during the three warm seasons, it is suitable for both trekking (hiking) and camping—car trips into nature. The model weighs 5.2 kg and the packed dimensions are 54x22x22 cm or about 26 liters in volume.

The Jack Wolfskin Eclipse III features a self-supporting construction, meaning it remains stable even without pegs and guy lines, simplifying and speeding up the setup process. Another feature is the use of recycled textile materials, mostly comprising the model: a polyester outer tent and floor. They are well-prepared for precipitation, with water resistance rated at 4000 and 10000 mm, respectively.

The inner sleeping area measures 180x225 cm, offering a standard width allowance of 60 cm per person. It has two entrances plus a pair of vestibules with a maximum length of 85 cm, sufficient for storing backpacks, outerwear, and other camping gear. Noteworthy are the ventilation elements for effective airflow, the support of the so-called summer mode (use of only the inner layer—the sleeping area—without the outer tent), the presence of mosquito nets, pockets, and a lantern loop.
